A MESSAGE FROM OUR PRINCIPAL
He panui i o tātou Tumuaki

Kia ora e te whānau,

As we come to the end of another busy and successful term, we want to extend a big thank you to our RPS community for your continued support – from getting our tamariki to school on time, to helping out with practices, joining us on trips, and attending Te Hui Ako.
Your involvement plays a huge part in creating the positive, vibrant learning environment we’re so proud of.

We’re looking forward to welcoming everyone back to school
at
8:30 am on Monday, 6th October, refreshed and ready for the final term of the year.

Miss Bleakley
Acting Principal

YEAR 7/8 BASKETBALL
Poitūkohu Pakeke

Congratulations to the Boys & Girls Basketball Teams who competed in the
Year 7/8 Basketball Tournament last week.
The girls played with intensity and stamina throughout the day, finishing in second place after a tough battle with Clendon Park School in the final.
The boys played hard and came back from defeat in the first game to
finish the day in third place.
Ka pai to all the students who participated, you represented RPS with pride.

YEAR 5/6 BASKETBALL
Poiutūkohu Teina

Our Year 5 & 6 students had a fantastic day at a basketball tournament yesterday.
The boys team went undefeated in pool play, showing great skill and teamwork.
With determination and resilience, they claimed third place after a strong win over
Manurewa Central.
Our girls team showed incredible growth throughout the day, improving with every game. We’re proud of the effort and progress shown by all our players.

A big thank you to Mrs Ruiz and Mr Logan for coaching our teams.

EARTH DAY
Te ra whenua mo o tātou maara kai i te kura

Our students looked amazing in their Earth Day themed mufti last Friday. We raised a total of $613.00. All proceeds will go towards our school gardens.
