Attendance Management Plan

From Term 1 2026, all schools in New Zealand are required to have and implement an Attendance Management Plan. These plans aim to improve student attendance by providing clear processes to identify and respond to absences early.  The plan includes a Stepped Attendance Response (STAR), based on the Government framework. It outlines what the school will do, the role of our Board, and what we ask of whānau in supporting regular attendance. The goal is to have clear and transparent pathways to identify concerns early and work together to address attendance in a supportive and proactive way.

Attached is the Randwick Park School Attendance Plan. This is a working document that will be regularly reviewed and updated. A copy will also be available on our school website over the next few days.
