Family Works SWiS (Social Workers in Schools)
Family Works SWiS is a free and confidential service that places qualified social workers in schools to support tamariki and their whānau. The focus is on helping children be safe, confident, and ready to learn by addressing any social, emotional, or family challenges they may be facing.
What SWiS can help with:
- Building positive relationships at home and school
- Managing emotions, anxiety, or behaviour
- Coping with grief, separation, or family change
- Strengthening parenting strategies
- Connecting families with extra support services
SWiS work alongside school staff, whānau, and community services to create strong, wraparound support for every child. Please contact Chad Robertson c.robertson@randwickpark.school.nz or (09)2670112 or 0800438777
