Kotahitanga House have done it again! For the second week in a row, they’ve achieved the highest weekly attendance, 73.7%, what an incredible effort! A big congratulations to Easton-Dean (Room 22) and Jarvis (Room 26), both from Kotahitanga, who were the lucky winners of our weekly Lego draw. Enjoy your prizes and happy building! Special mention also goes to Room 22 for recording the highest class attendance across the whole school last week, 88.9% an outstanding achievement. Ka pai to everyone for showing up ready to learn and giving it your best each day. Remember, our goal is regular attendance, with fewer than five days off over the term.

BULLYING
Randwick Park School is committed to creating a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all tamariki. Like all schools, we do face the issue of bullying from time to time. It is important that we use the word correctly and understand its meaning. Bullying is a deliberate act that involves a power imbalance, is repeated over time, and causes harm. It can be physical, verbal, or social, and may occur in person or through digital spaces such as messaging, gaming, or social media.
Families play an important role in helping children feel safe and supported at school. Regular conversations at home can encourage tamariki to speak up if something is worrying them. Asking thoughtful questions can help support children and enable whānau to better understand and put situations into perspective. Some helpful questions to ask include:
- Tell me what happened.
- Has this happened before?
- Did you tell a teacher or another adult about it?
- What did they do to help?
- Is the problem sorted now?
- How do you feel about what happened?
- Is there anything making you worried about going to school?
By working together, we can help our tamariki build kindness, confidence, and the skills to stand up for themselves and others. If you ever have concerns, please contact your child’s teacher or the school office.

This feedback helps us to review our processes and reflect on how we operate as a school. Thank you to everyone who took the time to share their views, we appreciate your input.
This is the feedback on our School Vision and Values.
